My organization has a website! Come on, click through…give them some love!
We created the site as a part of our US Embassy-funded project, the Women’s Democracy School and Information Center. While it’s not the theme or layout I would choose for my website, I’m really happy about it. In the spirit of doing things with my co-workers instead of for them, I am thrilled that my role was that of teacher and supporter. I didn’t pick the colors or layout or write the text. They don’t need my help to update it. They’ve learned how easy it is to make a site (thanks, Google Sites!) and have taken complete ownership.
Hooray for capacity building, and for something that just might survive after my time here is through.

Congratulations! Again, I’ve forwarded the information on to my co-workers as we have a tech-savvy volunteer who is wanting to get a website and blog up and running for our organization. Thanks for being the trailblazer!
You’re so sweet, Amy! I don’t know if I’d call us trailblazers but we did manage to launch our site. Google Sites is super easy and is available in Russian, which is what my co-workers used. Sean is probably a better person to talk to about this, should you decide to help with the website stuff. Good luck.
